Welcome to Tolam Great Danes, located in North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
My name is Amy Hatol and I raise quality harlequin and mantle Great Danes
of sound mind and body for both show and companionship. My Danes are
family, raised in our home and I am blessed to have them as a part of my life.
I have loved Great Danes since the first time I saw one when I was very young
but it was not until I finally had my own home with over 7 acres of land that I
was able to realize my dream. When I moved in, I found a fawn breeder and
exhibitor who happened to live across town from me and she became my
first mentor, introducing me to the world of showing and prompting me to join
the regional Great Dane club. She took my love for Great Danes and turned it
from a candle's flame into a bonfire. I will always be thankful for the honest
knowledge and kind guidance she offered me. I started out with a male
harlequin but it was not long before I purchased my sweet mantle girl Mia,
who came to be the foundation of my breeding. From that point on, my desire
has only strengthened to be a part of maintaining this beautiful and noble
breed. I have since developed friendships with many different breeders and
exhibitors who are involved in showing and breeding harlequin and mantle
Great Danes. They have all, in their own ways, been a wonderful influence
and a fountain of knowledge to guide me in the right direction. In my
breeding, I strive to produce an all-around dog and focus on good health,
conformation, temperament, longevity and breed type. Danes from my
breeding not only look the way Great Danes should look but also act the way
they should too, with sweet temperaments and ability to perform. I breed for
improvement in each generation, to consistently produce pups of exceptional
quality that can be shown or simply become a cherished family member for
years to come. I take my commitment to quality and preserving the breed
standard very seriously. Just as I was given support when I started, I will
always offer my knowledge, experience and support to those who buy pups
from me so they may have the best experience possible with their Dane.
