In my breeding program, I strive to produce an all-around dog. There is no compromising when it comes to health, temperament, longevity, or breed type. I consider all aspects of a breeding long before it happens and continue to put new knowledge to use each time.
I have had dogs in the past that have not lived up to my expectations, so they were removed from my breeding program and placed as pets. There is no reason to breed a dog that is not an excellent example of the breed and I believe that this is a responsibility all breeders should have. Breeding better dogs is constant work and being able to honestly evaluate one's own dogs is essential. I continue my work and research constantly as new information comes to my attention. I breed only to better the breed and to produce pups of exceptional quality that can be shown or simply become a cherished family member for years to come. I take seriously my commitment to quality and preserving the breed standard. I offer my knowledge, experience and support to those who buy pups from me so they may have the best experience possible with their Dane.
