This page was created to help connect adult Great Danes with adoptive homes.
Occasionally, breeders may have older puppies or adults available for adoption. There may have been an older puppy
or adult returned to the breeder due to unforeseen circumstances with their former owners, or there may be a retired
dog that a breeder feels would be happier living out their retirement in the calm environment of a one dog family with
adult owners where they can relish the undivided attention of their new adoptive family. In addition, restrictive pet limit
laws sometimes force breeders to make difficult decisions, as many town ordinances only allow breeders to keep a
very small number of animals in their homes. Because of these restrictions, some breeders may be forced to place a
dog/puppy who didn't turn out as show/breeding quality in order to continue their breeding program, or a dog/puppy
who was returned by their previous owner, or an adult who has retired from showing/breeding.

Please note that these available dogs are not rescues, whether the dog is from my breeding or is from a referral to
another breeder. They are in safe, happy homes until and unless the perfect family comes along for them. Please also
note that with referrals, the available dogs may not necessarily be from harlequin/mantle breeding, they may be fawn,
brindle, black or blue instead. Only occasionally do I get a request to help re-home a dog from a rescue situation, but
those are generally dogs that came from back yard breeders and I cannot speak for the health, temperament or quality
of such dogs, though I still feel it's important to find them loving adoptive homes when needed.
If you are interested in finding out about any available adults or receiving a referral to another
