I always love to get pictures and updates from the wonderful people who have given my pups loving 'forever' homes. I have received some of the nicest compliments and glowing remarks from my puppy owners over the years. They're all truly happy with their Danes...and that makes me happy!! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures from over the years...

I just wanted to share this wonderful e-mail from Moxie's owner: Hi Amy, Moxie is nearly a year old now- I can't believe it! She is doing great! She has 25 signs that she uses in daily life and many more that I continue to expose her to. She has tons of friends from disabled children, to my neighbors, to a basset hound and even a bulldog. About a week and a half ago we visited our first nursing home. Moxie was perfect! She visited with about 35 residents in the activities room as well as a few more in their rooms and the therapy room. Everyone was very impressed by both her size and her fabulous behavior. She went from wheelchair to wheelchair putting her head in the resident's laps so they could pet her. She has been invited to come back any time. I plan to get her therapy dog certification over the summer because she cannot test for it until she is at least one year old. She is growing into a beautiful dog- people constantly stop us when we are walking. I am so glad we found each other. She is a fabulous dog, an inspiration to my clients, and she loves me almost as much as I love her. Kathy
I just wanted to share these two lovely e-mails from Humphrey's Owner: Hi Amy, I just wanted to pass along a compliment to you. I had a dog trainer come over this afternoon to work on some good habits for Humphrey (AND ME!) The trainer Bari, works exclusively with large or giant dogs (she breeds Newfies and brought one for our lesson) and she said (and said to tell you) how impressed she is with Humphrey. She said "Clearly this breeder respects the breed and raises her dogs with love." She was also very pleased to see the progress Lawrence and I have made in 2 weeks. Thought you would enjoy a third party review! We are having a wonderful time, and Humphrey truly is a joy. Going for some vaccinations tomorrow. Will keep you posted. He is growing like a weed. I will try to take some new photos to send. I hope you are well! Michelle E-mail #2: Hi Amy! Yes Humphrey is doing well, and getting big! He is 45 pounds now, and has just had his final round of vaccinations. We are still working on walks and training, but he continues to be the life of the party in our neighborhood. I have a steady stream of kids knocking at the door wanting to play with him and walk him, and on Saturday, 7 kids gave him a bath in the backyard - it was hilarious! He is also signed up for puppy kindergarten, beginning mid September. You will notice we let his ears go. He was so agitated, and trying to rip the binding off in the grill of his crate, he was making himself crazy. After a few weeks of this, we took off the binding to give his ears a break, and he just perked right up. Lawrence decided his floppy ears suited his personality, and that we should not keep them up. All in all, I think he is happier, and he looks very sweet. I hope you don't mind! Humphrey met a 4 year old Great Dane last week named Tango. He is a 155 pound Blue, who just finished 7 weeks of shows. He was very sweet, and Humphrey loved racing back and forth under his belly. The owner loved H and said that he had "far superior" bone structure to his own dog, and that we should expect Humphrey may grow to be even bigger than Tango! It didn’t seem possible, looking at how small Humph was in comparison! Hope you can enjoy the tail end of your summer, and thanks for keeping in touch! I look forward to visiting your site to see all the photos!!! Michelle

Just sharing a sweet e-mail from Ben's owner: Ben is doing wonderful! He's happy as a puppy could be. He's found a favorite spot in the house and it's the couch of course... he's so stinkin cute! He's so sweet and he's really loveable. He loves to cuddle and be close to us. He likes to play with Bella and our little dogs and he follows me around all day. I'm amazed at how good natured he is. Just a breeze! I have lots of great pics and I'll attach some to this email. I put my cord to down load pics from my camera somewhere, I can't find it. But I'll send pics to you of what I have already down loaded. Kathy and I have taken some really great pics of him while we've been training, but darn it! It's on my camera and I've got to find that cord. Anyway, he's making really great progress and I'll get more pics to you as soon as I can. Talk to you soon! Jessica
